It’s easy to assume that the little royals would be some of the most spoilt children in the world.
But The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have revealed on several occasions that it’s really the opposite, and Prince George’s latest request is proof of that.
The 5-year-old missed out on attending the big Christmas party Kate and William held at Kensington Palace earlier this week for families of military personnel who won’t be home for the holidays.
Prince William and Kate then visited the RAF base where they are based the following day.
George and his sister again couldn’t attend, but his adorable request for his parents when they flew to Cyprus for another day of fun proves he’s not really bothered about missing out.
Speaking to a group of pilots at the base Kate explained they told George what they were doing.
“I told George this morning we were going to see the pilots today,” she said, according to the Express.
“He said, ‘if you see a helicopter can you take a picture?'” she added.
The sweet request just reinforces the little royals’ love for all things planes and helicopters, which William and Kate have revealed in the past.
The love of aviation is obviously something that has been passed down from father-to-son as William was a helicopter pilot for East Anglian Air Ambulance and also served with the RAF.
It looks like George could easily follow in his father’s footsteps when it comes to his career path later in life.
But regardless of what happens down the line, it’s lovely to know the only thing he wanted brought back from their trip away was a photo of a helicopter.
