Liverpool duo eyed by AC Milan after Zlatan Ibrahimovic interest ended

AC Milan have placed three Premier League strikers on their wish list after ending their interest in Zlatan Ibrahimovic , according to reports in Italy.

La Gazzetta dello Sport say that they have failed to come to an agreement with the Swedish striker over a short-term deal before the next MLS season gets underway.

But they have now turned their attentions to Liverpool pair Daniel Sturridge and Divock Origi, whilst injured Tottenham striker Vincent Jansson is also on their shortlist.

Origi scored a dramatic last-minute winner in the Merseyside derby last weekend but has been heavily linked to a move away from Anfield after struggling to become a regular in Jurgen Klopp’s plans.

He had been linked with a move to newly promoted Wolves, although AC Milan could now tempt him to make a January move.

They may decide to sign his team-mate Sturridge, however, as they look to add firepower to close the gap on runaway Serie A leaders Juventus.

AC Milan manager Gennaro Gattuso seems to have a clear interest in Premier League players, with Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas said to be top of his wish list after rumours of a triple Stamford Bridge swoop including defenders Andreas Christensen and Gary Cahill.
