Rory Cowan has claimed that his mother Esther “had no time” for Twink, after their feud took a turn for the worst this week,

On Thursday, panto queen Twink turned up at Rory’s mother’s funeral, and was publicly sent packing when Rory asked her to leave.

Following the upset, Twink told the Irish Sun that she wanted to go to the funeral out of respect for Rory – but the former Mrs Brown’s Boys star is having none of it.

Rory said: “If Twink wanted to acknowledge my mother’s death she could have sent me a note. To use my mother’s death, a woman she never even met, as a reason to try and reconcile is not on.”

“You don’t turn up at somebody’s mother’s funeral to try and repair a falling out. Adele turning up at my mother’s funeral? I wasn’t having it.”

“Adele never knew my mother. She never even met my mother. In fact my mother wouldn’t be in the same room as Adele,” he explained.

“While we were friends, she once asked me if she could meet my mother and I said, ‘Absolutely not, no’ — because my mother had no time for Adele.

“She had heard the ‘zip up your mickey’ phone message and read about Adele’s row with Linda Martin and was sympathetic to Linda. She never met, knew or liked Adele.”

“My mother was horrified by the ‘zip up your mickey’ thing. She thought that Twink referring to a newborn baby, born out of wedlock, as a ‘bastard’ was a low common comment to make,” he continued.

“She was horrified with the things Twink said about Linda Martin. She thought those comments were from the gutter. She didn’t know Linda. She just thought Twink’s comments about Linda showed a complete lack of class and manners.”

“My mother didn’t hold Adele in any regard whatsoever. Just goes to show, mother was right,” Rory added.
