Their busy work schedules mean they rarely get the opportunity to enjoy a cosy night in together.
But Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan managed to enjoy the pleasure of each other’s company in their Essex home on Friday night.
The couple enjoyed a feast, which included a selection of decadent cheeses, garlic bread, shrimp and salad.
But it was the pair’s cheese board that gave a hint that Our Girl actress Michelle might have changed her last name.
The cheese board was customised with a special message commemorating the couple’s 2015 nuptials.
It read: “Mark and Michelle WRIGHT – 24.05.2015.”
The engraved message suggests that Michelle might have privately changed her last name, Keegan, to her husband’s name, Wright.
Mark captioned one of the clips on Instagram Stories: “No place like home.”
Mark and Michelle tied the knot surrounded by their loved ones at St Mary’s Church in Bury St Edmonds.
The couple have been living apart recently while Mark has been filming a new series of The Bachelor in South Africa.
Michelle, who is usually based in the UK, has also been apart from Mark while he presents US TV show Extra in Los Angeles.
Speaking in 2013, Michelle admitted that she was keen to take on her then-future hubby’s last name.
‘I am quite traditional, so I’ll take Mark‘s surname and we’d like to get married in a church,” she had said.
And just months before walking down the aisle in 2015, she told Hello magazine that she was planning on being known as Michelle Wright personally, while keeping her maiden name for work purposes.
She explained: “We will be Mr and Mrs Wright. I may keep the name Keegan for work but for everything else in my life I will be Michelle Wright.”
Last week, Mark took a rare break from his busy work schedule to spend time in Essex with his family.
He surprised parents Carol and Mark Wright Snr. By turning up to their local pub.
