I'm A Celebrity: Declan Donnelly in great spirits as he shops in Australia

Declan Donnelly will be presenting his first series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! without his sidekick Ant McPartlin, who has stepped down from his TV commitments.

But despite being in Oz without Ant, 42, the Geordie was all smiles as he went on a shopping trip with his wife Ali Astall.

Dec, 43, cut a casual look for the outing as he wore a navy polo shirt matched with a pair of grey shorts.

The star appeared relaxed as he enjoyed the sunshine and protected his eyes with a pair of Rayban sunglasses.

Dec’s wife looked stunning in a white crochet dress which she sported with a pair of black loafers

Ali, 40, pulled her blonde locks into a ponytail and matched her spouse with a pair of stylish shades.

The couple, who welcomed their first child, daughter Isla, together in September, seemed to be stocking up on necessities for their stay as Ali carried some kitchen roll.

Dec will be presenting the new series of the ITV show alongside Holly Willoughby, who was spotted making her way to Australia yesterday.

The This Morning host will be joined Down Under by her husband Dan Baldwin and their three children, Harry, nine, Bella, seven, and Chester, four.

Before heading out to the jungle, Holly, 37, said she was delighted Ant had “trusted” her to step in on the show.

Speaking about Ant, Holly told The Sun: “I’m just looking after it until he gets back. It’s lovely that he trusted me with it.”

Holly has been vocal about her fear of dealing with the creepy crawlies and critters in Australia and now she’s admitted she will have to “toughen up”.

She spilled: “I’m going to have to toughen up other-wise if I say to contestants, ‘Don’t worry, you don’t have to do this trial if you don’t want to’, it’s obviously going to be a disaster.”

Earlier this week, Holly revealed she had been gifted with I’m A Celebrity themed gifts from her pals.

The blonde beauty shared a snap of herself on Instagram where she posed next to a chocolate cake with the words “Good Luck Down Under” emblazoned across it.

Holly also uploaded a clip showing off an Australian cork hat and a guide book.

She captioned the upload: “Mmmmmm yummy… my girls know what I like… thank you beautiful ladies @ruby1kid @shishib #nikidemetz and @emmaleebunton…”

Meanwhile, the line-up for this year’s series is yet to be announced.

Rumoured camp mates so far include Harry Redknapp, The Chase’s Anne Hegerty, Coronation Street star Sair Khan and The Vamps singer James McVey.

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! returns to ITV on 18 November.
